  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LRIG3 (Leucine-Rich Repeat Inhibitory Protein 3) is a member of the LRIG family, which is known to play a significant role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and tumorigenesis. Recent studies have highlighted its potential as a tumor suppressor, with evidence suggesting that LRIG3 expression can inhibit signaling pathways associated with cancer progression, including the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) pathway. Given the increasing prevalence of cancer worldwide and the need for more effective therapeutic targets, researchers are keenly interested in understanding the functional mechanisms of LRIG3. Furthermore, the recombinant expression of LRIG3 protein has emerged as a promising avenue for elucidating its biochemical properties and interactions within cellular systems. By producing LRIG3 as a recombinant protein, scientists aim to investigate its role in cell signaling, its effects on various cancers, and its potential for therapeutic applications. This research not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of tumor biology but also lays the groundwork for developing innovative strategies for cancer treatment and prevention. The exploration of LRIG3 could potentially lead to breakthroughs in targeted therapies, making it a crucial focus in contemporary cancer research.
