  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DNAL1, a member of the dynein family, is a critical protein involved in ciliary and flagellar movement, microtubule organization, and cellular transport processes. Its importance becomes particularly evident in the context of cellular motility and signaling, where proper function is essential for various biological processes, including reproductive health and embryonic development. Research has increasingly focused on DNAL1 due to its association with certain genetic disorders, where mutations can lead to diseases such as primary ciliary dyskinesia. This highlights the necessity for effective therapeutic strategies targeting DNAL1 and understanding its molecular mechanisms. Recombinant DNAL1 protein has emerged as a valuable tool for exploring its structural and functional properties in vitro, enabling researchers to elucidate its role in ciliary dynamics and to study the biochemical pathways influenced by its activity. Furthermore, the production of recombinant DNAL1 allows for the investigation of potential inhibitors or activators, paving the way for novel treatments for related ailments. Thus, the study of recombinant DNAL1 not only enhances our understanding of its fundamental biological roles but also holds promise for advancing medical research and therapeutic innovations.
