  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PTP3 (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 3) is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family, which plays a crucial role in cellular signaling processes by dephosphorylating tyrosine residues on proteins. This regulatory mechanism is essential for various biological functions, including cell growth, differentiation, and the immune response. The study of PTP3 is particularly significant due to its involvement in pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, where dysregulation of tyrosine phosphorylation can lead to aberrant cell signaling. Research has shown that PTP3 may interact with key signaling pathways, potentially influencing tumor progression and resistance to therapies. Moreover, understanding the structure and function of PTP3 can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms and facilitate the development of targeted therapeutics. Recent advancements in biochemical techniques and structural biology have enabled researchers to investigate the catalytic mechanisms, substrate specificity, and regulatory interactions of PTP3, paving the way for developing novel inhibitors or modulators that could benefit therapeutic strategies. This growing interest underscores the importance of PTP3 as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in various diseases, highlighting the necessity for further research into its functional implications in health and disease.
