Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SNAT1 (Sodium-coupled Neutral Amino Acid Transporter 1) is a critical protein involved in the transport of neutral amino acids across cell membranes, playing a vital role in various physiological processes, including nutrient absorption and neurotransmitter synthesis. Research into SNAT1 has garnered attention due to its implications in both metabolic and neuropsychiatric disorders. For instance, alterations in SNAT1 activity have been linked to conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and depression, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of SNAT1 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its transport mechanisms and regulatory pathways. These studies often involve the expression of SNAT1 in heterologous systems, enabling detailed characterization of its transport kinetics and interaction with substrates and inhibitors. Overall, investigating SNAT1 not only enhances our comprehension of amino acid metabolism but also opens avenues for developing innovative treatments for related diseases, making it a significant focus within cellular and molecular biology research.
