Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RpsH, a ribosomal protein that plays a crucial role in protein synthesis, is an essential component of the 30S ribosomal subunit in bacteria. Research into RpsH is significant due to its involvement in the regulation of translation and the overall process of ribosome assembly. The protein is known to interact with various RNA species and may influence the fidelity of translation under different physiological conditions. Furthermore, RpsH has been pointed out as a potential target for antibiotic development, as inhibiting its function could disrupt bacterial growth and proliferation. The understanding of RpsH and its mechanisms is vital not only for fundamental biology but also for the advancement of novel therapeutic strategies against bacterial infections. Given the increasing prevalence of antibiotic resistance, dissecting the structure and function of RpsH through recombinant protein studies could unveil new avenues for drug discovery. Various techniques such as X-ray crystallography, NMR spectroscopy, and cryo-electron microscopy are employed to elucidate its molecular structure, while biochemical assays help in defining its interactions and functions in vivo. Overall, the study of recombinant RpsH proteins is pivotal in understanding bacterial ribosome dynamics and exploring innovative approaches for combating antibiotic-resistant pathogens.
