Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYB5R2 (Cytochrome b5 Reductase 2) is an important enzyme that plays a crucial role in the reduction of methemoglobin to hemoglobin and in the maintenance of the redox state of various cellular components. Mutations in the CYB5R2 gene have been linked to various disorders, including methemoglobinemia type II, a condition characterized by the inability to efficiently convert methemoglobin back to its functional state, leading to decreased oxygen delivery in tissues. The study of CYB5R2 recombinant proteins has gained attention in recent years due to their potential applications in therapeutic interventions and genetic studies. Understanding the structure and function of CYB5R2 is essential for elucidating its biological significance and potential therapeutic targets. By producing recombinant forms of this enzyme, researchers can explore its kinetics, substrate specificity, and interaction with other proteins, providing insights into its role in cellular physiology and pathology. Furthermore, recombinant CYB5R2 may also serve as a valuable tool for drug development and metabolic engineering. As such, ongoing research into the synthesis and characterization of CYB5R2 recombinant proteins is critical for advancing our understanding of this enzyme's function in health and disease.
