Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CUL1, or Cullin-1, is a pivotal protein that plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, a key regulatory pathway responsible for protein degradation and turnover within cells. As a member of the Cullin family of proteins, CUL1 serves as a scaffold that assembles E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, facilitating the transfer of ubiquitin molecules to target proteins. This modification often signals for protein degradation, influencing various cellular processes such as cell cycle regulation, signal transduction, and responses to stress. Dysregulation of CUL1 and its related pathways has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, where aberrant protein degradation can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation and survival. The study of CUL1 recombinant proteins is vital for elucidating its functional mechanisms and interactions within ubiquitin ligase complexes. Additionally, exploring the structural and functional properties of CUL1 can provide insights into how it regulates substrate specificity and activity, which is essential for understanding its role in pathological conditions. Research into CUL1 not only enhances our comprehension of fundamental biological mechanisms but also holds potential for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in disease contexts. By harnessing recombinant protein technology, scientists can investigate CUL1 in detail, paving the way for discovering novel methods to manipulate its function for therapeutic benefits.
