Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OLIG2 is a key transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the development of the central nervous system, particularly in the specification and differentiation of oligodendrocyte precursor cells. It is known to be essential for the proper maturation of oligodendrocytes, which are responsible for the myelination of axons in the brain and spinal cord. Dysregulation of OLIG2 has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis and certain types of brain tumors, such as gliomas. Consequently, studying OLIG2 and its functions can provide insights into the mechanisms of neurodevelopment and the pathogenesis of these diseases. The production of recombinant OLIG2 protein allows researchers to investigate its structural and functional characteristics in vitro, facilitating the understanding of its binding properties, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other cellular components. This can also aid in the development of therapeutic strategies targeting OLIG2-related pathways. Overall, research on OLIG2 recombinant protein is pivotal for uncovering its contributions to neural cell biology and for exploring potential clinical applications in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer.
