Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ECT2 (epithelial cell transforming 2) is a Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling, particularly in regulating cell division, migration, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Elevated expression of ECT2 has been implicated in various cancers, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. Research on ECT2 has gained momentum due to its involvement in the transition from a non-tumorigenic to a tumorigenic state, highlighting its importance in oncogenesis. Recent studies have explored the molecular mechanisms underlying ECT2 function, revealing its role in modulating Rho GTPase activity and influencing key cellular processes, such as cytokinesis and cell shape regulation. The characterization of ECT2 as a potential oncogene has prompted investigations into its structure, regulatory pathways, and interactions with other proteins, leading to a deeper understanding of its contribution to cancer progression. Furthermore, the development of ECT2 inhibitors or modulators could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting tumor growth and metastasis. Overall, the study of ECT2 and its associated signaling networks is critical in the broader context of cancer research, presenting opportunities for innovative diagnostic and therapeutic advancements.
