Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRSS21, also known as Testisin, is a serine protease encoded by the PRSS21 gene, primarily expressed in the testis. This protein is a member of the trypsin-like serine protease family and plays crucial roles in various physiological processes, including spermatogenesis and the modulation of immune responses. The interest in PRSS21 has surged due to its potential implications in male fertility and various reproductive disorders. Recent studies have suggested that dysregulation of PRSS21 expression may be linked to infertility issues, making it a target for therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, PRSS21 has been implicated in cancer biology, with emerging evidence suggesting its involvement in tumor progression and metastasis. Research into recombinant PRSS21 protein aims to elucidate its functional properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other biomolecules. Understanding the structure and function of PRSS21 could pave the way for innovative treatments for reproductive health challenges and may contribute to the development of novel cancer therapies. Research advancements in the production and characterization of PRSS21 recombinant proteins offer valuable insights into its biological significance, thus highlighting the relevance of this protein in both reproductive and oncological research fields.
