Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCAS3 (Breast Cancer Amplified Sequence 3) is a gene that has garnered significant interest in cancer research, particularly in the context of breast cancer. It is located at the 17q23 locus, a region frequently amplified in breast tumors, indicating its potential role in tumorigenesis. The BCAS3 protein is believed to participate in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, survival, and response to DNA damage, which are critical in cancer development and progression. Studies have shown that elevated BCAS3 expression correlates with aggressive tumor characteristics and poor patient prognosis. This has sparked research into its mechanisms of action, such as its possible involvement in the regulation of gene expression, protein interactions, and its role in the DNA repair pathways. Given its association with cancer, BCAS3 is also being investigated as a potential biomarker for breast cancer diagnosis and prognosis, as well as a therapeutic target. Understanding the function and regulation of BCAS3 at the molecular level may provide insights into novel strategies for breast cancer treatment, including targeted therapies that could enhance patient outcomes. As such, ongoing research into BCAS3 not only aims to elucidate its biological significance but also to translate these findings into clinical applications that could improve the management of breast cancer.
