Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCN5, also known as connective tissue growth factor (CTGF)-like protein, is a member of the CCN family of secreted proteins involved in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and extracellular matrix formation. Research into CCN5 has gained momentum due to its potential roles in diverse physiological and pathological contexts, such as fibrosis, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. It is believed that CCN5 may act as a ligand for specific cell surface receptors, influencing signaling pathways that regulate cellular responses. Importantly, the modulation of CCN5 expression has been linked to altered cellular behavior, making it a point of interest for therapeutic interventions. The generation of recombinant CCN5 protein facilitates the exploration of its structure-function relationships and interaction with other biomolecules, providing insights into its biological roles. This recombinant protein can be utilized in functional assays to elucidate its influence on cellular processes, thereby advancing our understanding of its role in health and disease. The study of CCN5 is not only important for basic biological research but also holds the potential for developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting diseases associated with abnormal CCN5 expression.
