Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC30A1, encoding the zinc transporter ZnT1, plays a crucial role in cellular zinc homeostasis, actively transporting zinc ions out of cells to protect against zinc toxicity and maintain metabolic functions. Zinc is an essential trace element involved in various biological processes, including enzyme activity, DNA synthesis, and immune response. Dysregulation of zinc transport has been implicated in several diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, and cancer. Understanding the structure and function of SLC30A1 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its mechanism of action and regulatory pathways. Furthermore, investigating SLC30A1's interactions with other proteins and cellular components could reveal novel therapeutic targets for conditions associated with zinc imbalance. The production of SLC30A1 recombinant protein enables detailed biochemical and biophysical analyses, paving the way for the development of potential zinc-modulating agents that could ameliorate disease symptoms linked to zinc dysregulation.
