Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KTN1, also known as Kynurenine-related substance 1, has emerged as an intriguing target in the field of protein research due to its involvement in various cellular processes. Initially identified in the context of its role in neurological functions, KTN1 has been linked to the kynurenine pathway, which is essential for the synthesis of neurotransmitters. Dysregulation of this pathway is often associated with neurodegenerative diseases, psychiatric disorders, and inflammation. Recent studies suggest that KTN1 may play a critical role in mediating neuroprotection and synaptic plasticity, leading researchers to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant production of KTN1 protein in a laboratory setting enables scientists to investigate its structure-function relationships and interactions with other biomolecules, providing insights into its physiological roles. Furthermore, understanding the mechanisms underlying KTN1’s activity can pave the way for developing novel interventions for conditions associated with its dysregulation. As the scientific community continues to explore the complexities of the kynurenine pathway, KTN1 stands out as a promising candidate for further investigation, offering the potential for significant breakthroughs in neuroscience and beyond.
