Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DREB2C, a member of the DREB (Dehydration-Responsive Element-Binding) transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in plant stress responses, particularly in relation to abiotic stresses such as drought and high salinity. The increasing frequency of extreme weather events and climate change necessitates the identification and characterization of stress tolerance mechanisms in plants. Research on DREB2C has gained momentum due to its ability to regulate downstream genes involved in stress responses, which can enhance plant resilience. Studies have shown that DREB2C activates a cascade of stress-responsive genes, leading to the accumulation of protective proteins and metabolites. This transcription factor is predominantly expressed in response to water deficit conditions, making it an attractive target for genetic engineering aimed at improving crop performance under stress. Recombinant DREB2C protein has been produced to explore its functional properties, stability, and interaction with other proteins within the signaling pathways that regulate stress tolerance. These investigations not only enhance our understanding of plant biology but also provide insights into potential biotechnological applications for developing resilient crop varieties able to endure the challenges of a changing climate.
