The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

KCTD15 (Kelch-like Family Member 15) is a protein implicated in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and signal transduction. Research has increasingly focused on KCTD15 due to its association with important physiological functions and potential links to diseases, particularly malignancies and neurodevelopmental disorders. KCTD15 functions as a substrate recognition component of an E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, playing a critical role in the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins, thereby influencing cellular signaling pathways. The study of KCTD15 has revealed its involvement in modulating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, which is essential for cell fate determination and tissue homeostasis. Moreover, aberrations in KCTD15 expression and function have been observed in various cancers, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Investigating the recombinant form of KCTD15 provides valuable insights into its structural and functional dynamics, enabling a deeper understanding of its role in cellular mechanisms and its implications for disease. By characterizing the recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its interaction networks and regulatory functions, fostering the development of targeted therapies that could mitigate the impact of diseases associated with KCTD15 dysregulation. This research not only contributes to our fundamental understanding of KCTD15 but also paves the way for novel medical strategies in combating related pathologies.
