Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLS3 (Pleckstrin-Like Protein 3) is a member of the pleckstrin family of proteins, which are characterized by the presence of pleckstrin homology (PH) domains. It is primarily expressed in various tissues, particularly in the brain and immune cells, where it plays a significant role in cellular signaling and cytoskeletal dynamics. Researchers have been investigating PLS3 due to its involvement in critical biological processes such as cell migration, adhesion, and immune response regulation. Mutations in the PLS3 gene have been associated with disorders such as osteogenesis imperfecta, indicating its importance in bone metabolism and structural integrity. Moreover, PLS3 is a target of interest in cancer research, as its expression levels can influence tumor progression and metastasis. Given these diverse functions, recombinant PLS3 proteins are being generated for detailed biochemical and structural studies to elucidate their functional mechanisms in health and disease. This research is crucial for understanding the molecular underpinnings of PLS3-related pathologies and developing potential therapeutic strategies. Through the study of PLS3 and its interactions, scientists aim to gain insights into its role in cellular processes and how these may be manipulated for therapeutic benefit.
