稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BPIFA1, or BPI fold-containing family A member 1, is a secreted glycoprotein predominantly expressed in the airway epithelium and plays a crucial role in the innate immune response. Research has shown that BPIFA1 is involved in defending against respiratory pathogens, modulating inflammation, and maintaining mucosal homeostasis. Its structure, characterized by the presence of a lipid- binding protein-like fold, suggests potential functions in lipid metabolism and immune recognition. Elevated levels of BPIFA1 have been correlated with various respiratory diseases, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), highlighting its importance as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Recombinant BPIFA1 protein production enables detailed studies of its biological functions, interactions with pathogens, and mechanisms of action. Understanding BPIFA1's role in immune responses could lead to novel strategies in treating respiratory diseases and enhancing mucosal immunity. Given its significance, ongoing research aims to elucidate the molecular pathways governed by BPIFA1 and its potential applications in clinical settings, paving the way for innovative therapies in respiratory medicine.
