Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CA19-9, or cancer antigen 19-9, is a carbohydrate antigen often used as a tumor marker in the diagnosis and management of pancreatic and gastrointestinal cancers. The study of recombinant CA19-9 proteins has gained significant attention due to their potential applications in both diagnostics and therapeutics. Elevated CA19-9 levels correlate with tumor burden, making it a valuable biomarker for cancer progression and response to treatment. However, CA19-9 is not exclusively specific to cancer; it can also be elevated in benign conditions, complicating its diagnostic utility. The recombinant production of CA19-9 facilitates the development of highly sensitive assays and diagnostic tools, as well as the exploration of its role in tumor immune evasion. Furthermore, recombinant CA19-9 proteins can be utilized in the design of targeted therapies or vaccines, potentially improving patient outcomes. The ability to produce CA19-9 in a controlled laboratory setting opens avenues for detailed studies on its biological functions, interactions with immune cells, and influence on tumor microenvironments. Overall, research into recombinant CA19-9 proteins is crucial for enhancing cancer diagnosis and treatment strategies, with the aim of improving the survival rates of patients suffering from malignancies associated with this marker.
