Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Arginase 1 (ARG1) is an important enzyme involved in the urea cycle, catalyzing the hydrolysis of arginine to produce urea and ornithine. Its role extends beyond merely metabolic processes; it has been implicated in various physiological and pathological conditions, including immune response regulation and tissue remodeling. In particular, ARG1 is expressed in macrophages and is associated with the M2 phenotype, which is linked to anti-inflammatory responses and tissue repair. Research has shown that elevated levels of ARG1 are often found in various diseases, including cancer and chronic inflammatory conditions, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. Consequently, recombinant ARG1 proteins have been developed to study their functional implications in these contexts. These recombinant proteins enable researchers to explore the biochemical pathways involving arginine metabolism and to assess their influence on immune modulation and tumor microenvironments. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional characteristics of recombinant ARG1 may provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms and potential applications in targeted therapies. The ongoing investigation of ARG1 not only aids in elucidating its biological significance but also assists in the development of innovative strategies for treating diseases associated with dysregulated arginine metabolism.
