Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADP-ribosylation factor 6 (ARF6) is a member of the ARF protein family, which plays crucial roles in various cellular processes, including endocytosis, membrane trafficking, and cytoskeletal dynamics. As a small GTPase, ARF6 is involved in signaling pathways that regulate membrane lipids and protein localization, notably influencing cell shape and motility. Dysregulation of ARF6 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis, where altered cell adhesion and migration contribute to tumor progression. Given its pivotal role in cellular functions, researchers have focused on studying ARF6 recombinant proteins to elucidate their mechanisms and interactions in vitro and in vivo. Recombinant ARF6 proteins enable detailed investigations into GTPase activity, binding partners, and functional assays to assess their role in endosomal cycling and plasma membrane dynamics. By utilizing recombinant techniques, scientists aim to provide insights into the molecular pathways governed by ARF6, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies targeting diseases associated with ARF6 dysfunction. Understanding the structural and functional properties of ARF6 can facilitate the development of inhibitors or modulators that may ameliorate the adverse effects seen in diseases linked to aberrant ARF6 activity. The ongoing research on ARF6 recombinant proteins highlights its importance as a target for drug discovery and the fundamental understanding of cell biology.
