Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MCM5, a member of the mini-chromosome maintenance (MCM) protein family, plays a crucial role in DNA replication and cell cycle regulation. MCM proteins, including MCM5, are known to form a hexameric complex that functions as a DNA helicase, unwinding the double helix during the initiation of replication. Research has shown that dysregulation of MCM5 is associated with various cancers, making it a target of interest for cancer therapy and diagnostics. The study of recombinant MCM5 proteins allows for detailed examination of their functional properties, interaction with other replication factors, and potential as biomarkers. Moreover, understanding the structural and biochemical characteristics of MCM5 can contribute to elucidating the mechanisms of DNA replication and the factors leading to genomic instability. The recombinant production of MCM5 facilitates in vitro studies that are pivotal for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at targeting aberrant cell proliferation in cancer.
