Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on recombinant AHSG (Alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein), a glycoprotein primarily synthesized in the liver, has garnered significant attention due to its critical role in various biological processes, including bone mineralization, immune response, and inflammation. AHSG is known for its ability to bind calcium and other cations, influencing mineralization in the human body. Abnormal levels of this protein have been linked to several health conditions, including osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, and different types of cancer. Given its clinical relevance, researchers have focused on producing recombinant AHSG using various expression systems to facilitate detailed studies on its structure, function, and potential therapeutic applications. By leveraging recombinant DNA technology, scientists aim to produce large quantities of AHSG for in vitro and in vivo studies, which can lead to a better understanding of its mechanisms and the development of AHSG-based diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, the ability to engineer AHSG through recombinant techniques opens avenues for exploring its role in personalized medicine, particularly in tailoring treatments for diseases associated with its dysregulation.
