稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADH2, or Alcohol Dehydrogenase 2, is an important enzyme in the metabolic process of alcohol in humans, playing a critical role in the oxidation of alcohol to acetaldehyde. The study of ADH2 recombinant proteins has garnered significant attention due to their implications in both pharmacology and toxicology. Variations in the ADH2 gene result in different isoforms with varied enzymatic activity, which can influence individual responses to alcohol consumption, making it a focal point for research related to alcoholism, liver disease, and metabolic disorders. By expressing and purifying recombinant ADH2 in various systems, scientists aim to elucidate the structural and functional properties of the enzyme, as well as to explore its interactions with substrates and inhibitors. Understanding the kinetics and mechanisms of ADH2 can provide valuable insights into alcohol metabolism, enabling the development of potential therapeutic strategies for alcohol-related conditions. Moreover, the availability of recombinant ADH2 can facilitate high-throughput screening for drug discovery, particularly in identifying compounds that modulate enzyme activity, offering avenues for intervention in alcohol dependency and associated diseases. As research progresses, the study of ADH2 and its recombinant forms continues to contribute to our comprehensive understanding of alcohol metabolism and its implications on health.
