Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
INSL6 (Insulin-like peptide 6) is a member of the insulin superfamily that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, particularly in reproduction and metabolism. Initially identified in the context of testicular function, research has suggested that INSL6 may be involved in the regulation of reproductive hormones and the development of male fertility. Its expression is predominantly localized in the Leydig cells of the testes, where it is thought to influence the local endocrine environment. Additionally, INSL6 has gained attention for its potential link to metabolic conditions, including obesity and diabetes, due to its insulin-like effects. The recombinant production of INSL6 protein has opened new avenues for studying its biological functions and mechanisms. By generating large quantities of this protein through recombinant DNA technology, researchers aim to elucidate INSL6's role in cellular signaling pathways, interactions with insulin receptors, and its overall contribution to metabolic health and reproductive physiology. Understanding INSL6's structure and function could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting metabolic disorders and male infertility, making it a significant focus of ongoing research in endocrinology and reproductive biology.
