  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DBI (Dahlia-Binding Inhibitor) is a protein that has garnered significant interest in biomedical research due to its role in various physiological functions and its potential therapeutic applications. Originally identified in the context of its interaction with gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and its involvement in the regulation of reproductive functions, DBI is also known for its influence on the central nervous system, particularly in modulating stress and anxiety responses. Research has revealed that DBI can act as an endogenous modulator of neurotransmitter systems, thereby affecting mood and behavior. Additionally, aberrant expression of DBI has been implicated in various neuropsychiatric disorders, prompting investigations into its molecular mechanisms and pathways. Recent studies have focused on the structural characteristics of DBI, exploring its dynamic properties and interactions with other biomolecules to elucidate its functional roles. As understanding of DBI expands, it offers promising avenues for drug development aimed at treating mental health conditions and improving neuroprotection. Consequently, the study of DBI and its recombinant forms has become a pivotal area of interest in both basic and applied research, highlighting its significance in understanding complex biological systems and developing potential therapeutic interventions.
