Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The ACBD6 protein, a member of the acyl-CoA binding domain protein family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential roles in lipid metabolism, cellular signaling, and disease pathology. Research indicates that ACBD6 is involved in various cellular processes, including the modulation of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) dynamics and mitochondrial function, which are critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Its ability to bind acyl-CoA suggests a regulatory function in fatty acid metabolism, potentially impacting metabolic disorders and conditions such as obesity and diabetes. Recent studies have also linked ACBD6 to the modulation of autophagy and inflammation, further establishing its relevance in maintaining cellular health. Given its involvement in crucial biological pathways, understanding the structure and function of ACBD6 through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its mechanistic roles and therapeutic potential. Investigating ACBD6 has implications for developing novel strategies for treating metabolic and inflammatory diseases, thereby highlighting its significance in the broader context of cellular biology and pathology.
