Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Phosphoinositide 3-kinase gamma (PIK3CG) is a pivotal enzyme in the phosphoinositide signaling pathway, playing a crucial role in various cellular processes such as growth, proliferation, and survival. As a member of the PI3K family, PIK3CG is primarily expressed in immune cells and is integral to the regulation of inflammation and immune responses. Dysregulation of PIK3CG has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent research has focused on the structural and functional characterization of recombinant PIK3CG protein to better understand its enzymatic activity and interactions with downstream signaling partners. By producing this recombinant protein, scientists aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms governing PIK3CG's role in cellular signaling and its contribution to disease pathology. Advances in techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy have provided insights into the protein's structure, allowing for the identification of potential drug-binding sites. Furthermore, understanding the regulatory mechanisms of PIK3CG may pave the way for developing novel inhibitors that can effectively modulate its activity in disease contexts, thereby offering new avenues for therapeutic intervention in related pathological conditions. Thus, the research surrounding recombinant PIK3CG continues to be a vital area of interest, bridging gaps in knowledge that could lead to innovative strategies for disease management and treatment.
