Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fas-2, a member of the Fas family of proteins, has garnered significant attention in immunology and cell biology due to its pivotal role in apoptosis and immune response regulation. As a receptor expressed on the surface of various immune cells, Fas-2 plays a crucial part in the initiation of programmed cell death, a mechanism vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and eliminating dysfunctional or infected cells. Understanding the structure and function of Fas-2 is essential for elucidating its role in various diseases, particularly autoimmune disorders and cancers, where dysregulation of apoptosis can lead to pathological conditions. Recent advancements in molecular biology and recombinant protein technology have enabled researchers to produce and study Fas-2 in vitro, facilitating investigations into its signaling pathways and interactions with ligands such as Fas ligand (FasL). These studies aim to unravel the intricate mechanisms governing immune cell behavior, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications. By exploring how Fas-2 modulates apoptosis and immune responses, researchers hope to develop novel strategies to manipulate these pathways in disease contexts, thus providing insights that could lead to innovative treatments for conditions characterized by abnormal cell death and immune function.
