Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ORF7 is a crucial coding region found in the genome of various viruses, particularly within the Coronaviridae family, including SARS-CoV-2. The study of ORF7 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention due to their potential role in viral pathogenesis and immune response modulation. Research indicates that ORF7 proteins may facilitate immune evasion by interfering with host cell signaling pathways, potentially allowing the virus to establish infection more effectively. By producing recombinant ORF7 proteins in vitro, scientists aim to analyze their structural properties, interactions with host immune components, and functional implications in viral life cycles. These studies are vital for understanding how ORF7 contributes to the overall virulence of the virus and can inform the development of novel therapeutic strategies and vaccines. Moreover, the insights gathered from ORF7 research could pave the way for identifying biomarkers for disease progression and aids in devising more effective public health responses to viral outbreaks. As the global community continues to grapple with viral diseases, elucidating the complexities of ORF7 and its recombinant forms represents a promising avenue for advancing virology and immunology.
