  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

YPEL1 (Yippee-like protein 1) is a member of the Yippee protein family, which is characterized by a conserved Yippee domain. Initially identified for its role in neuronal functions, YPEL1 has garnered attention for its potential implications in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Research has revealed that YPEL1 is involved in critical signaling pathways, influencing cellular responses to stress and playing a role in development and maturation of certain cell types. Its dysregulation has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, where it may affect tumor growth and metastasis. The recombinant expression of YPEL1 allows for in-depth studies of its structural and functional properties, providing insights into its mechanisms of action. Moreover, the development of YPEL1-based assays may facilitate the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers for disease. As a research tool, the recombinant YPEL1 protein can aid in understanding its interactions with other cellular components and its role in physiological and pathological conditions, paving the way for advanced research in cell biology and therapeutic applications.
