简介
The EDF1/MBF1 protein is a transcriptional coactivator that stimulates NR5A1, NR1H3/LXRA, and PPARG transcriptional activity. It enhances ATF1, ATF2, CREB1 and NR5A1 DNA binding. EDF1/MBF1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived EDF1/MBF1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EDF1 (Endothelial Differentiation-Related Factor 1) and MBF1 (Multiprotein Bridging Factor 1) are crucial proteins involved in various cellular processes, including gene regulation, stress response, and differentiation. EDF1, primarily known for its role in endothelial cell differentiation, interacts with transcription factors to promote angiogenesis and vascular development. MBF1, on the other hand, acts as a coactivator that enhances the transcription of specific genes in response to stress signals. The interaction between EDF1 and MBF1 has drawn considerable interest in recent years, particularly in understanding their synergistic effects on gene expression regulation and cellular responses to environmental changes. Researchers have been investigating the mechanisms by which these proteins contribute to pathways relevant to cancer progression, cardiovascular diseases, and other pathological conditions. The recombinant expression of EDF1 and MBF1 allows for in-depth studies into their functional interactions and potential roles as therapeutic targets. By characterizing the biochemical properties and cellular functions of these proteins, scientists aim to elucidate their contributions to important biological processes and to explore their applicability in medical research, ultimately contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
