Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCAM (Basal Cell Adhesion Molecule), also known as LUA or CD239, is a cell adhesion molecule primarily expressed in the basal layer of epithelial tissues. Its role in various biological processes, such as cell adhesion, migration, and signaling, has positioned BCAM as a key player in both normal physiology and disease states. Notably, BCAM has been implicated in several cancers, inflammatory conditions, and cardiovascular diseases. Researchers have increasingly focused on studying BCAM due to its potential as a therapeutic target and a biomarker for disease progression. The recombinant expression of BCAM protein offers valuable insights into its functional roles and mechanism of action. By utilizing techniques such as recombinant DNA technology and protein purification, scientists can produce and characterize BCAM in vitro, enabling detailed investigation of its interactions with other cellular components. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the molecular pathways involving BCAM, ultimately paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies to combat diseases associated with dysregulated cell adhesion and migration.
