Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IRS3 (Insulin Receptor Substrate 3) is a crucial adapter protein involved in insulin signaling, which plays a significant role in metabolic processes, cell growth, and survival. Its primary function is to facilitate the transduction of insulin and insulin-like growth factor signals by serving as a docking site for various signaling molecules, thus initiating cascades that regulate glucose metabolism and cellular responses. Research into IRS3 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in metabolic disorders such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and insulin resistance. Additionally, IRS3 is thought to interact with various signaling pathways beyond the insulin receptor, contributing to other physiological functions and pathophysiological conditions. The recombinant expression of IRS3 protein allows for detailed studies on its structural characteristics, interaction with other proteins, and its role in signaling pathways. Investigating the effects of IRS3 manipulation could lead to new therapeutic approaches for treating insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. Due to its importance in metabolic health, understanding the functional dynamics of IRS3 through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its regulation and potential as a target for novel interventions in metabolic diseases.
