Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the HLA-A*02:03/B2M/AFP (FMNKFIYEI) monomeric recombinant protein is situated at the intersection of immunology and cancer research. HLA-A*02:03 is a widely studied class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecule, crucial for the presentation of endogenous peptides to CD8+ T cells, thereby playing a pivotal role in the adaptive immune response. The beta-2-microglobulin (B2M) component is essential for stable expression and function of the HLA-A molecules. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a tumor-associated antigen often overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma and other malignancies, making it an attractive target for immunotherapeutic approaches. By engineering a stable monomeric complex of HLA-A*02:03 with B2M and the AFP-derived peptide FMNKFIYEI, researchers aim to investigate the structural and binding characteristics of this particular antigenic presentation. This can provide insights into T cell recognition and activation, which is vital for developing targeted immunotherapies and enhancing vaccine efficacy against AFP-expressing tumors. Understanding the interactions within this complex can offer potential pathways for improving cancer immunotherapy strategies and contribute to personalized medicine approaches for patients with HLA-A*02:03 haplotypes. Through this research, the ultimate goal is to develop more effective and precise antigen-specific immunotherapies that leverage the body’s immune response against cancer.
