Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the HLA-A*02:01, β2-microglobulin (B2M), and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) monomeric recombinant protein complex has significant implications in immunology and cancer research. HLA-A*02:01 is one of the most prevalent human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecules, playing a crucial role in the immune response by presenting peptide fragments derived from endogenous proteins to CD8+ T cells. AFP, a glycoprotein predominantly produced in the liver during fetal development, is also expressed in certain cancers, making it a potential target for cancer immunotherapy. The peptide PLFQVPEPV, derived from AFP, can specifically bind to HLA-A*02:01, activating T cells that may recognize and eliminate AFP-expressing tumor cells. By recombinantly producing the HLA-A*02:01-B2M-AFP monomer, researchers can investigate the structure, stability, and immunogenicity of this complex. Such studies can facilitate the development of novel therapeutic strategies, including peptide-based vaccines or cancer immunotherapies, aimed at enhancing anti-tumor immunity in HLA-A*02:01 positive patients. The comprehensive understanding of this recombinant protein complex could pave the way for innovative treatments for various cancers, particularly those associated with AFP expression.
