Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CIP2A (CIP2A, Cancerous Inhibitor of Protein Phosphatase 2A) is a novel oncoprotein identified for its role in promoting cancer cell survival and proliferation by inhibiting the tumor suppressor protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). Its overexpression has been correlated with various malignancies, including breast and lung cancers, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for cancer prognosis and a target for therapeutic intervention. Recent studies have shown that CIP2A contributes to the regulation of multiple signaling pathways, such as the PI3K/Akt and MAPK pathways, which are crucial for cell growth and survival. Understanding the structure and function of recombinant CIP2A proteins is essential for elucidating their mechanisms in tumorigenesis and identifying strategies to disrupt their activity. The production and characterization of recombinant CIP2A will allow for in-depth functional assays and the development of inhibitors that could restore the activity of PP2A and promote apoptosis in cancer cells. Additionally, studying CIP2A in the context of drug resistance mechanisms can unveil important insights into overcoming therapeutic challenges in oncology. Given the increasing interest in personalized medicine, targeting CIP2A could offer a novel approach to improving treatment outcomes in cancer patients, making it a compelling subject of investigation in the field of cancer research.
