简介
CADM3 Protein is crucial for cell-cell adhesion through calcium-independent homophilic and heterophilic interactions with IGSF4, NECTIN1, and NECTIN3. It can regulate cell-cell junctions through its interaction with EPB41L1. CADM3 Protein forms homodimers and trans-heterodimers with NECTIN3, and interacts with EPB41L1, DLG3, PALS2, and CASK. CADM3 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CADM3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CADM3, or Cell Adhesion Molecule 3, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily that plays a crucial role in cell-cell adhesion, particularly in the nervous system. It has been implicated in various biological processes such as neurodevelopment, synaptic plasticity, and potentially in the pathology of neurodegenerative diseases. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in neuronal migration and the formation of synaptic connections, making it a target of interest for understanding neural circuitry and function. The reorganization of CADM3 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to delve deeper into its structure-function relationships and to explore its potential as a therapeutic target in neurological disorders. By producing CADM3 in a recombinant form, scientists can investigate its interactions with other cellular components, monitor its effects on cellular dynamics, and assess its therapeutic potentials. Furthermore, understanding CADM3's role in pathological conditions could lead to insights for developing novel strategies in treating diseases where cell adhesion mechanisms are disrupted. Overall, the study of CADM3 recombinant protein is a promising frontier in biomedical research, aiming to unravel the complexities of cell adhesion in health and disease.
