Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CADM2 (Cell Adhesion Molecule 2), also known as IGSF4D, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a crucial role in cell-cell adhesion and signaling processes. This protein is predominantly expressed in the central nervous system and has been implicated in various neuronal functions, including synaptic plasticity and the regulation of neuronal development. Research has shown that CADM2/IGSF4D is involved in the modulation of neuronal networks and has potential implications in neurological disorders such as autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. The study of CADM2/IGSF4D recombinant proteins provides valuable insights into their structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to explore their roles in cellular mechanisms and disease pathways. With advanced biotechnological methods, the production of these recombinant proteins facilitates the development of therapeutic strategies targeting CADM2/IGSF4D-related pathways, highlighting the significance of this research in understanding complex neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions. The exploration of CADM2/IGSF4D not only enhances our knowledge of cell adhesion mechanisms but also opens avenues for innovative treatment approaches for neuropsychiatric illnesses.
