简介
CREG1/CREG proteins may contribute to the transcriptional control of cell growth and differentiation and play a key role in counteracting cellular transformation induced by the adenovirus E1A protein. Its activity depends on interaction with IGF2R, functioning as a glycosylation-dependent homodimer. CREG1/CREG Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CREG1/CREG protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CREG1 (Cellular Repressor of E1A-stimulated genes 1) is a critical regulator of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and stress response. It belongs to a class of proteins involved in modulating gene expression and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Research has shown that CREG1 plays a role in the suppression of tumor growth and can modulate the effects of oncogenic factors. Additionally, its expression is often altered in diseased states, suggesting a potential role in disease progression and therapy response. The study of CREG1, particularly its recombinant protein forms, has gained attention as it presents opportunities for understanding its functional mechanisms at the molecular level. By exploring the interaction of CREG1 with other cellular proteins and signaling pathways, researchers aim to elucidate its role in tumor suppression and its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombining CREG1 into functional assays can provide insights into its activity, stability, and potential applications in drug development, highlighting the need for better understanding of this protein in both healthy and diseased states. Overall, the research surrounding CREG1/CREG recombinant proteins is vital for uncovering novel therapeutic strategies and enhancing our comprehension of its biological significance.
