简介
PRTN3 is a serine protease that broadly targets elastin, fibronectin, laminin, vitronectin, and collagen types I, III, and IV in vitro, playing a crucial role in extracellular matrix degradation. It modulates endothelial cell barrier function by cleaving and activating the receptor F2RL1/PAR-2 and enhances vascular integrity during neutrophil transendothelial migration. PRTN3 Protein, Human (S203A, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PRTN3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag and S203A mutation.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRTN3, also known as proteinase 3, is a serine protease predominantly expressed in neutrophils and plays a crucial role in immune responses and inflammatory processes. The significance of PRTN3 in both health and disease has driven extensive research, particularly its involvement in autoimmune disorders such as vasculitis and rheumatoid arthritis, where it can contribute to pathogenesis through the generation of autoantigens. Additionally, PRTN3 is recognized for its link to the activation of neutrophils and the modulation of inflammation, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of recombinant PRTN3, facilitating detailed studies on its structure, function, and interactions with other proteins. The engineered forms of PRTN3 are being explored for diagnostic applications and as possible agents in modulating immune responses. Understanding the biochemistry of PRTN3 at the molecular level offers insights into its functional roles and paves the way for novel therapeutic strategies in treating inflammatory diseases.
