Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DMKN (Dermokine) is a protein that has garnered attention in the field of dermatological research due to its potential role in skin homeostasis and barrier function. Highly expressed in the skin, DMKN is involved in various physiological processes, including inflammation, wound healing, and cellular differentiation. Recent studies have suggested that DMKN may have antimicrobial properties, making it a candidate for therapeutic interventions in skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, where barrier dysfunction and microbial dysbiosis are prevalent. Additionally, the examination of DMKN's structural and functional characteristics through recombinant protein techniques has opened new avenues for understanding its molecular mechanisms. Researchers are particularly focused on elucidating the signaling pathways influenced by DMKN, which could lead to innovative treatment strategies targeting skin disorders. The development of recombinant DMKN proteins allows for in-depth analyses of its interactions with skin cells and microbiota, contributing to a broader understanding of skin health and disease. As DMKN continues to be explored, it holds promise not only for basic skin biology but also for advancements in clinical applications aimed at promoting skin repair and improving therapeutic outcomes for skin conditions.
