Neutrophil cytosol factor 1

简介
Neutrophil cytoplasmic factor 1 (NCF1) is essential for activation of the NADPH oxidase complex, which is essential for superoxide production. It cooperates with NCF2 to form a core association in the complex, interacting with NCF4, CYBB and CYBA. Neutrophil cytosol factor 1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived Neutrophil cytosol factor 1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Neutrophil cytosol factor 1 (Ncf1) is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in the function of neutrophils, which are key components of the innate immune system. It is part of the NADPH oxidase complex, responsible for generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) during the respiratory burst, a critical process for microbial killing. Deficiencies or mutations in Ncf1 can lead to impaired neutrophil function and increased susceptibility to infections, highlighting its importance in host defense mechanisms. The exploration of recombinant Ncf1 protein has gained traction in both basic research and therapeutic applications. By producing and purifying Ncf1 in a recombinant system, scientists aim to study its structure and function in detail, understanding how it assembles within the oxidase complex and its role in ROS production. Furthermore, recombinant Ncf1 offers potential for investigating its interactions with other proteins, elucidating pathways involved in immune responses and inflammatory processes. As research progresses, insights gained from recombinant Ncf1 could pave the way toward novel therapeutic strategies for treating immune deficiencies and inflammatory disorders. This ongoing exploration underscores the importance of Ncf1 in both basic immunology and clinical contexts, providing a foundation for future studies aimed at harnessing its potential in health and disease.
