FITC-Labeled ROBO1

简介
The ROBO1 protein is a receptor for SLIT1 and SLIT2 and plays a key role in cellular responses during migration, including axonal navigation and projection. Interaction with FLRT3 promotes axonal attraction to NTN1-expressing cells. FITC-Labeled ROBO1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived FITC-Labeled ROBO1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The ROBO1 protein, a member of the Roundabout (Robo) family of guidance receptors, plays a critical role in neurodevelopment, particularly in axon guidance and cell migration during embryonic development. Research has shown that ROBO1 is implicated in various physiological processes, including neuronal network formation and the regulation of cell signaling pathways. Aberrant expression or malfunction of ROBO1 has been associated with neurological disorders and certain cancers, making it a significant focus of biomedical research. The use of FITC-labeled (fluorescein isothiocyanate) ROBO1 recombinant proteins has emerged as a valuable tool for studying the spatial distribution and functional characteristics of ROBO1 in cellular and tissue contexts. FITC labeling permits the visualization of ROBO1 in real-time using fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry, enabling researchers to track its localization, interactions with other molecules, and role in cellular processes. This technique is particularly useful in evaluating the effects of various ligands and environmental conditions on ROBO1 function. Overall, the study of FITC-labeled ROBO1 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of the fundamental biology of ROBO1 but also opens avenues for therapeutic interventions in disorders linked to ROBO1 dysregulation.
