Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPIP5K2, or pyrophosphate-dependent phosphoinositide 5-kinase 2, is an enzyme belonging to the family of inositol phosphate kinases, which play critical roles in cellular signaling pathways involving phosphoinositides. This protein is particularly important in regulating the levels of inositol phosphate intermediates, which are key signaling molecules involved in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of PPIP5K2 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it a focal point for therapeutic research. Its unique ability to convert inositol hexakisphosphate to inositol pentakisphosphate underscores its significance in cellular metabolism. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of PPIP5K2 as a biomarker and therapeutic target, as modulating its activity can influence downstream signaling pathways linked to cell survival and growth. Understanding the structural and functional properties of the recombinant PPIP5K2 protein can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms and pave the way for the development of targeted therapies aimed at restoring normal cellular functions. The recombinant expression of PPIP5K2 enables detailed biochemical and biophysical analyses, allowing researchers to explore its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interactions with other signaling molecules, thus contributing to a comprehensive understanding of its biological significance and potential clinical applications.
