Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDH7, or Cadherin 7, is a member of the cadherin family of proteins, which are crucial for cell-cell adhesion and play a significant role in various biological processes, including tissue morphology, neural patterning, and synaptic function. CDH7 has been implicated in several developmental and pathological conditions, particularly in the context of neurodevelopment and cancer progression. Researchers have shown that aberrations in cadherin function can lead to altered cell signaling and motility, which are critical in tumor metastasis. The understanding of CDH7's structure and function could provide insights into its specific roles in maintaining cellular integrity and its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of CDH7 protein, which allows for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization. This research not only aids in elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying CDH7's function but also opens avenues for developing CADHERIN-specific inhibitors or drugs that could mitigate its role in disease processes. By characterizing the recombinant CDH7 protein, scientists aim to unveil its interactions with other cellular components and its implications in cell adhesion and signaling pathways, thereby contributing to the broader understanding of cadherin biology in health and disease.
