Gene name
PRDC/GREM2
-
简介
PRDC, encoded by the GREM2 gene, has multiple functions, including BMP and protein binding, which are critical for dorsal identity determination, embryoid body morphogenesis, and signal transduction regulation. PRDC is found extracellularly and is expressed in structures such as the cartilaginous skull, integument, intestinal smooth muscle annulus, lung, and neural tube. PRDC/GREM2 Protein, Mouse is the recombinant mouse-derived PRDC/GREM2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with tag free.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRDC (Platelet-Rich Dermal Composite) and GREM2 (Gremlin 2) are proteins that have gained significant attention in recent years due to their roles in various biological processes, including tissue regeneration and repair. PRDC, derived from platelet-rich plasma, is known for its regenerative properties and has been implicated in wound healing and enhancing tissue engineering applications. GREM2, a member of the Gremlin family, acts as a key regulator in the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling pathway, which is crucial for the development and maintenance of various tissues. Research has shown that GREM2 can influence cellular functions such as differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis, making it a potential therapeutic target for conditions such as osteoarthritis and cancer. The recombinant production of these proteins allows for in-depth studies regarding their mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential. Furthermore, the ability to produce PRDC and GREM2 in a controlled environment facilitates the exploration of their interactions with other biomolecules and their effects on cellular behavior. Ongoing research focuses on elucidating the precise roles these proteins play in regenerative medicine, with the aim of developing novel treatments that harness their properties to enhance healing and repair mechanisms in various clinical settings. As our understanding of PRDC and GREM2 deepens, these proteins may emerge as critical components in advancing regenerative therapies and improving patient outcomes.
