Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of ANO2 (anoctamin 2), a calcium-activated chloride channel, has gained significant attention in recent years due to its role in various physiological processes and potential implications in diseases. Initially identified as a member of the anoctamin family, ANO2 is primarily known for its function in epithelial tissues, where it regulates fluid secretion and plays a crucial role in sensory signal transduction. Research has shown that ANO2 is involved in the proliferation and differentiation of certain cell types, particularly in the context of cancer, where its expression patterns may correlate with tumor progression and metastasis. Additionally, ANO2 has been implicated in the pathophysiology of conditions such as cystic fibrosis and neurodegenerative diseases, leading to increased interest in its molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. The production of recombinant ANO2 proteins allows for in-depth studies of its biophysical properties, pharmacological profiles, and interactions with other cellular components. Understanding the biochemical and structural characteristics of ANO2 can provide insights into its functional roles and open avenues for drug development aimed at modulating its activity. The ongoing research into ANO2 therefore holds promise for advancing our knowledge of ion channel biology and translating these findings into clinical applications.
