Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NTSR2 (Neurotensin receptor 2) is a member of the neurotensin receptor family, which is a class of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) that bind the neuropeptide neurotensin. This receptor plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including pain modulation, thermoregulation, and the regulation of dopaminergic signaling in the central nervous system. Dysregulation of NTSR2 has been implicated in several neuropsychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia and depression. Therefore, understanding the structure and function of NTSR2 is vital for developing therapeutic interventions targeting these conditions. The recombinant expression of NTSR2 has garnered interest in recent years, as it allows for in-depth studies of the receptor's pharmacological properties and potential ligand interactions, contributing to drug discovery efforts. Utilizing advanced techniques in molecular biology, researchers aim to characterize the receptor's activation mechanisms and downstream signaling pathways, ultimately leading to a better understanding of its role in health and disease. Additionally, NTSR2 offers a promising target for the development of novel drugs that may modulate its activity, providing new therapeutic avenues for treating conditions linked to neurotensin dysregulation. The growing body of research on NTSR2 recombinant proteins underscores its significance in both fundamental neuroscience and clinical applications, paving the way for innovative approaches to mental health treatment.
