Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FOLH1, or Folate Hydrolase 1, is a critical enzyme involved in folate metabolism, playing a significant role in the hydrolysis of polyglutamated folates into their monoglutamate forms, which are more bioavailable for cellular uptake. Elevated levels of FOLH1 have been associated with various pathological conditions, including cancer, where it contributes to tumor growth by modulating folate availability and influencing cellular proliferation. The enzyme is also of interest in neurological disorders, as it affects folate levels essential for neurotransmitter synthesis and neural function. Research into recombinant FOLH1 has gained momentum, focusing on its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions and as a biomarker for disease progression. The development of recombinant protein allows for detailed structural and functional studies, paving the way for drug design that could inhibit FOLH1's activity or modify its substrate interactions. Novel applications in imaging and targeted therapy, especially in oncology, are being explored, as FOLH1 appears to be overexpressed in certain cancers, providing a selective target for drug delivery systems. Overall, the study of FOLH1 recombinant protein is crucial not only for understanding fundamental biochemical processes but also for the development of innovative strategies in disease treatment and prevention.
